The Waffle Iron takes up a variable number of spaces on the board depending on the amount of Waffles. The Waffle Iron sits on one space. Waffles, each taking up one space, extend in a direction from the Waffle Iron. Breaking blocks next to or using bonus piece explosions on the Waffle Iron or Waffles will remove the furthest Waffle from the Waffle Iron in the chain. The Waffle Iron will be removed once all Waffles have been cleared. Blocks and game pieces can not travel through the Waffle Iron and Waffles.
